Sorry I haven't been writing my email, it's always the last thing on my mind, so this email will be about the last 3 weeks.      The first thing that happened was we had transfers and I'm in a trio now. It's kind of fun but also kind of hard because now there are always 3 different opinions and 3 different people that need to use the bathroom every morning haha.       One day we were walking down a sketchy alley at night and we saw a dude digging a hole with a pickaxe which honestly isn't that weird in Peru. As we got closer, we were about to ask if he needed help but then we saw a dead dog right next to the hole...we decided he was doing just fine on his own haha.      We got a new guy in our district this transfer, and he got a really good first experience. He doesn't know any Spanish and his companion doesn't know very much English and so he had no idea what was going on. We went to this house for service, and they ga...
This will be a pretty short email because my last pday was like 4 days ago haha. I just have 2 stories.        We were out knocking doors, and we knocked the last door on the street, and we heard a bunch of kids in the house screaming their heads off, then one of them hangs out of the window and we were like, hey how's it going, are your parents' home? Another 5 minutes go by and the kid was just staring at us, then finally the door opened and the older brother came out and we invited him to church and stuff, then he just says, why are you here, we were like, we're just inviting everyone to church, and he's like, ok but like why are you here, in Puno? So we explained that we're missionaries, and he just kept asking questions, "w...

This past week was pretty great. For Christmas we basically just tried to do service all day, which was honestly a nice break from proselyting and hearing, "no gracias, yo soy católico," over and over haha. But at the end of the day, we got to watch Elf. It was in Spanish but honestly, I thought it was funnier in Spanish.       We had zone conference this week as well, which was...super fun and not boring at all. But after zone conference we were able to go to the Uros, which are super cool. They are floating islands in the middle of Lake Titicaca. I have no idea where they came from, but they're just floating islands made of sticks and grass with houses and people living on them. We sang some Christmas carols to them, and they pretended to like it.       Before we went to the Uros, we ate some food and it had nuts in it, so me and my comp had to go to a sketchy pharmacy and buy a pill for me. It was super cheap, and it did absolute...
