This will be a pretty short email because my last pday was like 4 days ago haha. I just have 2 stories.

We were out knocking doors, and we knocked the last door on the street, and we heard a bunch of kids in the house screaming their heads off, then one of them hangs out of the window and we were like, hey how's it going, are your parents' home? And he says no but my older brother is. Then he disappeared and we heard a bunch of screaming and arguing and junk, then like 5 minutes later, (it felt like 30) he came back to the window and said he's coming. Another 5 minutes go by and the kid was just staring at us, then finally the door opened and the older brother came out and we invited him to church and stuff, then he just says, why are you here, we were like, we're just inviting everyone to church, and he's like, ok but like why are you here, in Puno? So we explained that we're missionaries, and he just kept asking questions, "why did you choose Puno"..."we didn't, we got assigned here"..."why did you choose to be here, 2 years is a long time"..."we wanted to serve"..."how much do you get paid"..."nothing, its service"..."what!? What do you have to gain by doing this"..."nothing, its service"..."I bet nobody even says yes to you guys, why are you here"..."we like our church and want to share it"..."but you don't get paid"...(etc.) This went on for a very long time, and he just couldn't believe that we're doing this as service haha.

Anyways second story, haha we were walking down a sketchy alley, and we heard a voice from one of the houses that said "ayudame! ayudame!" Which just means help me and so we turned and walked in to see if the guy was ok and it was a really scary looking guy and he was speaking really bad Spanish but what I got out of it was, I need to get my car out of the garage but my key doesn't fit, so we were like ok where are your keys?  And he legitimately walked in a circle then looked at us and was like, "...I don't know." Then he stumbled in to his house to find his keys and he came out with like a ring of house keys and we were like bro, these aren't car keys, they won't fit. And he's like, I know they're for the door, so we tried all of them and none of them worked, and we told him that and he got super angry, "no, they work!" We were like bro, we tried them all, they don't work, then he's like come help me find the right keys, and at this point I was sure I was getting kidnapped or something, but we followed him into his house that smelled really bad like throw up. We went into his bedroom, and he said something about the bed that I didn't understand, but my comp was like bro that's your bed, your car is downstairs. Apparently, the guy was trying to get my comp to, "put the key in the bed to unlock his car." Shockingly the bed did not unlock the car😂 But long story short, my comp just made up something like ok we unlocked your car, goodbye, and the guy was happy and let us leave. Thank goodness my comp was lying because he was in no condition to drive. At first I thought he was drunk but I think he's just crazy.
