These last few weeks were really great, but honestly nothing unusual really happened other than normal work. But the work is going really well.

I was able to baptize our friend Amancio and he's the best. He lives about 20 minutes away taking a taxi in the middle of the jungle, so it's always fun going to his house. We always see some sort of animal while we're out there. We've seen monkeys, some sort of rodent thing, and a lot of snakes. We saw a huge boa constrictor in the middle of the road, and it was super cool, but aggressive. I'll try to send the video of it. He was probably the most ready person I've ever taught to be baptized. He always reads the scriptures and prays and comes to church. He didn't have any problems with commandments or doubts, and he wants to be a missionary. We would have had to try not to baptize him haha. Now all of his siblings want to get baptized too, so I'm really happy for them.

We also found a girl that was taught in the past and I don't know how they didn't baptize her because she's awesome. We asked her what she remembered about what the missionaries taught and she said that she loves the book of Mormon and our church, and she was going to be baptized, but her mom told her not to because she was going to sin again after baptism probably, and after baptism you shouldn't sin. We told her that that's why we can repent and that everyone sins after baptism and she immediately accepted that and accepted a baptismal date. I was expecting at least a little bit of resistance or even a little bit of time to think, but she just immediately changed her mind.

I don't know what else to write because nothing really happened, but I hope you have a great week and feel free to write me!!
